We’ve had another exciting week engaging with students across the province about cycling. More than 60 students have signed up for our online contest – logging over 2300km. This more than triples our total km cycled after week 1! From Kingston to Thunder Bay, students have been hopping on their bikes to participate in UCycle events. Lakehead students received free persians and advice on how to carry purchases as part of our grocery store tour on the weekend. And Sunday saw the first of a series of free yoga classes for Queen’s students who arrive at Lululemon by bike. The class was well attended and all participants were able to shop for 15% off after their workout. Our bike-friendly business program is up and running with almost 100 businesses offering discounts to students who arrive by bike. Feel free to share your experiences shopping by bike with us on Twitter (@UCycleOntario) and Facebook. Keep on rolling!
